Treasurer Report: Richard Miller gave a report.  

Employee Relations Report:  New HR Director

Activity Report: Merger of Teamsters 911 & 986 completed 

Stewards Report: None

New Business:  Cost of medical insurance will increase October 1, 2025 by 5.4%. The following is how we believe it will breakdown

Family $1849	$1600	$249/month or $124.50/check

Deferred Comp transfer from Mission Square to Empower will happen in September. During that time, members will not have access to their account. RothIRA’s will not transfer. For more information, contact Sarah Curtis in HR.

Next OCEA Meeting we will be receiving nominations for Treasure and Secretary. To run for either of these positions, you must be nominated. 

Open discussion: notably, the suggestion that other departments or division get a salary study.
