Meeting Minutes – October 17, 2023
Meeting Location: SLR Treatment Plant – Jim Turner Room

Meeting called to order: By Mike Heiser at 5:30 pm Second Claire Vrabel.
Motion was made to accept the August 15, 2023 Meeting Minutes by Mike seconded by Claire.
Treasurer Report: Richard Miller gave a report.
Employee Relations Report: none
Activity Report: none
Stewards Report: none – went over parameters to become a stewart.
Old Business:
Continued discussion on medical increase. Email went out to everyone on increase. Open enrollment for benefits is Oct. 16th – 30th.
New Business:
Nominations for the board: Mike Heiser and Ahren Fox were both nominated at the meeting for President. Marcos Moreno was nominated for Vice President. Send email to Claire to add nominations before the next meeting, there are 5 positions (President, VP, Treasurer, & 2 Secretary positions). Holiday Party: raffle and food to be served – email Claire with suggestions.
Open discussion: Attendees asked about review of Salary Study through Teamsters and how to get involved/bring ideas to union.
