Voting on the New Tentative Agreement of the following modifications of the Memorandum of Understanding for the OCEA bargaining Unit.
- Article XX (Term of Agreement) Three Year Contract: July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022
- Article VI (Compensation), Section A – Salary Base Wage Increase:
a. Effective the first full pay period in July 2019, a 2.5% increase to the salary schedules of all OCEA represented classifications.
b. Effective the first full pay period in July 2020, a 2% increase to the salary schedules of all OCEA represented classifications.
c. Effective the first full pay period in July 2021, a 2% increase to the salary schedules of all OCEA represented classifications. - Article VI (Compensation), Section Q – Deferred Compensation
Effective the first pay day following adoption of this MOU by the Oceanside City Council, the City will increase the employer contribution towards an employee’s deferred compensation account from $28.85 per pay period to $38.46 per pay period ($1000.00 per year). - Special Salary Adjustments (SSA) – Effective the first full pay period in July 2019 or the first full pay period adoption of this MOU by the Oceanside City Council, whichever occurs later, the following classifications will receive special salary adjustments as follows:
