Meeting minutes from November 21, 2017.
Hope you all are doing well in 2018, and it was great to see everyone at the Holiday Party last month! We will be having our first meeting of 2018 on February 20 at 5:15 in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms. NO MEETING IN JANUARY.
Our colleague, Code Enforcement Officer Eileen Deptula had to have a major surgery Dec. 28th and does not have enough leave time accumulated to cover what is expected to be several weeks off from work. Human Resources has approved a request for Catastrophic Leave Bank to be established. If you would like to donate vacation hours, please fill out the Catastrophic Leave Bank form (ask your payroll pro if you don’t know what this is) and turn it in with your time card. Just an FYI, when we cover her, we need to cover not only the hour for hour salary; but, also the cost of benefits.
And, as you may know, Tony Gonzalez took a new position in the City and will no longer be able to serve on the OCEA board. TONY, CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!
